After voter rejection, fate of Miami Beach Marina project up in air

Miami Beach voters on Nov. 3 effectively rejected the sale of city property and air rights at the Miami Beach Marina to developer Terra Group for a multimillion-dollar renovation. Now, commissioners who approved the deal in July pending its passage by a majority of voters will evaluate options for moving the project along.
According to a memo addressed to commissioners by City Attorney Raul Aguila, Beach voters faced three questions on their ballot regarding this item.
