$489 million Golden Glades Interchange plan back on track

The Golden Glades Interchange project is back on track as state funds are to become available in 2022. Stacy Miller, secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation District Six, announced that the $489 million project is to receive funds through the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. 

“It [the Golden Glades project] will be included in the governor’s recommendation through the GAA,” Ms. Miller said. “A portion of those funds are actually coming in fiscal year ’22 so that we can gear up for the construction in fiscal year ’23.”
