38 firms look at $280 million courthouse project

Interest is high among developers in building a new civil courthouse on Flagler Street to replace the dilapidated one nearby, as representatives from 38 firms attended an Aug. 20 pre-submittal conference on the matter, according to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Giménez.
The county in August requested proposals from developers to enter a public-private partnership on the project, whose cost is predicted to exceed $280.71 million… To read the full story click here
