38 firms look at $280 million courthouse project

Interest is high among developers in building a new civil courthouse on Flagler Street to replace the dilapidated one nearby, as representatives from 38 firms attended an Aug. 20 pre-submittal conference on the matter, according to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Giménez.
