13 big industrial construction projects on the drawing boards

The cover of this year’s 2019 Industrial Market Report, published by the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida, shows a giant wrecking ball demolishing a warehouse in the shadow of a tall apartment building. Demand for residential and other uses is edging out land for industrial properties, members said at the group’s January meeting.

Nevertheless, 13 industrial projects are on the boards for this year and next, said Sebastian Juncadella of Fairchild Partners, a board member of the commercial real estate organization.
