The International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami, presented by Teatro Avante, celebrates its 28th season by presenting some of the best theater companies from Latin America, Europe and the US in various locations in Miami and Key Biscayne. Performed in Spanish. 8:30 p.m. July 11-12. Festival July 11-28. Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Carnival Studio Theater, Miami. $30. Teatro Prometeo presents "Cyrano Mio" at the XXVIII International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami. The play begins one year after the death of Cyrano. Roxana, still in the convent where she waited for Cyrano every Saturday for 15 years, recounts their conversations and remembers the man she loved through the face of Cristian. Every minute of her memories is filled with the guilt of never understanding how sublime Cyrano’s love really was. 8:30 p.m. July 12-13. Teatro Prometeo, 300 NE Second Ave., Miami. $30.
