A HIJACKING

   In "A Hijacking," the cargo ship MV Rozen is heading for harbor when it is hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. The seamen are taken hostage in a cynical game of life and death. A psychological drama unfolds with the demand for a ransom of millions of dollars. 8:45 p.m. Additional screenings through June 30. MYSTERY OF MUSIC

   Documentary "Hava Nagila" delves into the history, mystery and meaning music in Jewish culture. Featuring interviews with Harry Belafonte, Leonard Nimoy, Connie Francis, Glen Campbell, Regina Spektor and more, the film follows the ubiquitous party song on its journey from the shtetls of Eastern Europe to the kibbutzim of Palestine to the cul-desacs of America. 7 p.m. Additional screenings through June 30. ALICE’S ADVENTURES

   The Royal Ballet of London’s performance of "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" screens. Based on Lewis Carroll’s literary characters: a twitchy White Rabbit, a tap dancing Mad Hatter, a wise caterpillar and more. FREE FILMS

   The Miami Jazz Society film series screens two 50s/60s period films "Love Field," in which a white housewife meets a young black girl and her father while traveling, and senses that something is amiss. Her meddling starts a chain reaction that has them all on the run from the police, and on the road to a deep friendship. Also screening, "Far From Heaven," telling of a suburban white housewife in 1950s Connecticut who finds her husband with another man, and must deal not only with his infidelity, but also racial tensions, as she copes with her emotional turmoil by developing an unlikely friendship with her gardener. 5-6:15 reception. 6:15-8 p.m. "Love Field." 8-9:45 p.m. "Far From Heaven."
