Corona and Tobacco Road hosts "Waterloo," a day featuring a patio full of 40 tons of sand, umbrellas, beach balls and topped off with a cool, wet water balloon fight. The four-day Florida Supercon features over 350 comic book, film, television, stage, music, and anime guests. Events include celebrity question and answer sessions, industry panels, writing workshops, video game tournaments, costume contests, and more. This year’s music festival features over 50 national and local bands. Zoo Miami offers reduced admission for Fourth of July weekend sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Visitors receive giveaways and are able to view some of their latest car models. On July 6, "Blue Bell’ helps guests cool down by distributing free samples of ice cream from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Also, the Samburu Giraffe Feeding Station allows visitors to get up close and personal with a giraffe. Guests can also feed Indian rhinoceroses or Australian parrots; hop on a camel ride or choose from the many different ways to travel through the zoo to view and learn about the animals. 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. July 4-7.
