   In "Pablo," a 5-year-old loses his mother in an accident. KON TIKI

   Oscar nominated for Best Foreign Language Film "Kon Tiki," tells of explorer Thor Heyerdal’s 4,300-mile crossing of the Pacific Ocean on a balsa wood raft in 1947, in an effort to prove it was possible for South Americans to settle in Polynesia in pre-Columbian times. The film was shot twice simultaneously — an English and a Norwegian version — and the English version has been released in the US. 3:35 and 6:20 p.m. Additional screenings through May 23. RELUCTANT FUNDAMENTALIST

SIMON KILLER

   The follow-up to Antonio Campos’ film, "Afterschool," "Simon Killer" is an erotic and psychological portrait of Simon, a well-educated, handsome and seemingly sympathetic college graduate with a hint of something off-putting. Recently heartbroken, Simon travels to Paris to clear his head. After several days of wandering, Simon finds himself drawn into a sex parlor and has an encounter with an exotic prostitute, Victoria. The chemistry builds between the two until they find themselves in a serious relationship, one that leads to blackmail, betrayal and the ultimate revelation of Simon’s true nature. 9 p.m. Additional screenings through May 19.
