Zoo Miami celebrates Earth Day with "Party for the Planet," a two-day event featuring a plant show and sale by the Tropical Flowering Tree Society; green activities and entertainment for the entire family as well as animal enrichment with recycled items and/or natural materials like newspapers, cardboard tubes, bamboo, old tires, fire hoses, and more. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 20-21. COLLEGE IS POSSIBLE
MDC North Campus and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund host the "College is Possible Town Hall & College EXPO. The event features workshops and a college fair where attendees learn about career and educational options, and how to pay for college. The workshops are offered in English and Spanish. 8 a.m.-noon.
