Mission To Turkey To Seek Pact

Miami is looking to strengthen its ties with the Republic of Turkey, starting with a port agreement between PortMiami and the Port of Istanbul, when a delegation travels to the European country in June.
Last year, representatives from the republic attended CAMACOL’s 33rd annual Hemispheric Congress in Coral Gables and the relationships formed at the Congress paved the way for the sister port agreement, according to CAMACOL Managing Director Patty Arriaf.
