ORIGINAL MADMAN

   "Bert Stern: Original Mad Man" looks into the life and work of one of the greatest American photographers of all time. After working alongside Stanley Kubrick at Look Magazine, Stern became an original Madison Avenue "mad man," his images helping to create modern advertising. 4:20 and 9:05 p.m. Additional screenings through April 11. THE SILENCE

   "The Silence" begins on a hot summer day, when a girl named Pia is brutally murdered in a field of wheat by Peer, as his helpless friend Timo watches. Exactly 23 years later, another 13-year-old, Sinikka, is missing, her bicycle abandoned in the same spot, leading police to suspect the same killer. Recently widowed detective David and his colleague Janna struggle to solve the mystery of these parallel crimes with the help of the retired investigator of the unresolved case. 6:45 and 9 p.m. Additional screenings through April 7.    Comedy "Mean Girls" written by Tina Fey tells of Cady, a teen raised in African bush country by her zoologist parents.    In "Disconnect" a hard-working lawyer can’t find the time to communicate with his family. A couple is drawn into a dangerous situation when their secrets are exposed online. A widowed ex-cop struggles to raise a mischievous son who cyber-bullies a classmate. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen who performs on an adult-only site. BARDOT FEATURES

   The Cosford Cinema presents a free Bridgette Bardot double feature screening "Her Bridal Night," a comedy in which a French country girl (Bardot) is discovered by a Parisian magazine; and "Mademoiselle Striptease," in which Bardot is a Paris schoolgirl who ignites hellfire in the minds of men.
