Global electric car race targets Miami By Meisha PerrinElectric car racing may be coming to downtown Miami next year as one of 10 global cities selected to promote Formula E racing. Miami, said Georgio Veroni of Formula E Holdings, who spoke to the city commission, was selected to be among pioneering cities for the race because of its history with Indy car racing and because it's a top-tier international city with amazing weather.
