Beach tries to tally convention center tab

    The total cost of the Miami Beach Convention Center's redevelopment and expansion project remains undetermined until the final master plan is selected.
   Miami Beach Mayor Matti Herrera Bower said during an interview with Miami Today that talks on the total cost of the redevelopment, as well as financing for what could be a $1 billion project, continue at this point, and it all depends on what the two dueling developers — South Beach ACE and Portman CMC — will present at the next meetings.
