PortMiami freight rail to reopen in July

The final leg of the project to reopen Port Miami to freight rail service will begin this spring.
Florida East Coast Railway currently plans to close the bidding March 22 for companies seeking a contract to build a dockside cargo rail facility to start operating the cargo rail line July 1.
