BISCAYNE NATURE
   The Crandon Park Visitors and Nature Center offers the Bear Cut Preserve, a 264-acre natural barrier island habitat on the northern tip of Key Biscayne. Guided tours and educational programs are offered year round for all ages — from low tide marine beach and wading tours to bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling and bicycling. KAYAK & SNORKEL
   Kayak along the shallow waters of Key Biscayne and explore the protected areas of Bear Cut Preserve with Crandon Park's Kayak and Snorkel Adventure. Discover tropical fish, spotted eagle rays, sea stars and coastal birds. ORCHID FESTIVAL
   Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosts the 11th annual International Orchid Festival, a three-day event showcasing more than 10,000 orchid plants on sale from international vendors, and gardening workshops and lectures. 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Through March 10.
