TALKING ART
   The Miami Art Museum presents lecture "The sensation of understanding the world: Visionary agents in contemporary art" by Constantino Manuel Torres. Following the theme of intervention featured in the exhibition currently on view, this lecture sees the role of visionary drugs as agents of change in contemporary art. Also, performance "A Proper Marriage" choreographed by Pioneer Winter explores the perceived co-dependence of music and dance. Sheet music will be strapped to the backs of dancers, whom the musicians will follow in order to read the composition and maintain the melody. 6:30 p.m. lecture. 7:45 p.m. performance. OPENING RECEPTION
   The Frost Art Museum hosts an opening reception of five new exhibitions: Jose Manuel Ballester: Concealed Spaces; Eugene Savage: The Seminole Paintings; Deep Blue by Javier Velasco; The Healing Spirits of the Waters and Aesthetics & Values 2013. ARTOPIA
   The fifth annual Artopia showcases art, culture, fashion, food, music and film.
