New university plans Homestead campus

    University of Southernmost Florida executives will receive plans for the first phase of their Homestead campus this week and will put those plans into action in short order.
   Dade Medical College acquired Jacksonville's Southern Career College in 2011, the name was changed to University of Southernmost Florida and the team has been making major moves ever since.
   Last November the executives inked a deal to lease 19,000 square feet in the heart of Coral Gables for their main campus and they are already working on an expansion to the south.
