The 20th annual "Gala in the Garden" black-tie fundraiser benefits programs in conservation science, education, and horticulture and collection management. The theme of this year’s gala is "Botanical Tapestry," with co-chairs Swanee DiMare and Frances Sevilla-Sacasa. The Coral Gables Museum opens exhibit "Plant Exploration: 80 Years at Montgomery Botanical Center" presented by the center’s executive director, Patrick Griffith.
