MIA ART FAIR
The Miami International Art Fair aboard the SeaFair showcases an international collection of galleries from Beijing, Buenos Aires, Moscow, Paris, London, New York and more. Contemporary artworks include painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, digital, electronic, performance art, works on paper, functional design and studio jewelry design. Noon-10 p.m. Jan. 18-19. Noon-7 p.m. Jan. 20-21. Brockway Memorial Library hosts an artist opening reception for "People of the World: Through the Lens of H. WINE & ART
As part of the Miami International Art Fair, Wine by the Bay in Downtown Miami offers three wine tasting events for art fair patrons. Join Stefano Campanini, owner of Wine by the Bay, aboard the SeaFair mega yacht for "Wine and Waves — A Perfect Wine Storm, showcasing wines from California, Tuscany, and France. 7-8:30 p.m. Through Jan. 20. Kontempo Art, a contemporary art gallery featuring sculpture, paintings and mixed media pieces, holds its grand opening on Calle Ocho. The Coral Gables Museum hosts the "ArtCycle" exhibit for a one night show featuring fifteen art bikes on view and for sale to the highest bidders at a silent auction.
