Hialeah plays ball with Major League Baseball

    Negotiations are underway on a land deal to build a Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy near a Hialeah middle school.
   The City of Hialeah and the Miami-Dade County School District are working out terms for the city to lease about 13 acres of school district property adjoining Hialeah Middle Community School, said Hialeah City Attorney Bill Grodnick.
