Legislature pivotal on Affordable Care Act

    Though events over the past six months have dispelled some doubts about the future of the Affordable Care Act, many unresolved questions linger at both federal and state levels about how it will be implemented. Hospital administrators are looking to March's state legislative session to provide clarification.
   "The overriding feeling health-care providers have now is that, with the Supreme Court decision and the election having been decided, it's now a certainty that the act will be implemented," said Steve Sonenreich, CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center. "That being said, there is still work to do."
