TRISTANA
   Luis Buñuel's "Tristana" tells of an orphaned young woman that becomes the ward of a nobleman who seduces her. She then leaves him for an artist, but returns to her aging benefactor and calculatingly hastens his demise. Filmed in Toledo, Spain, it was released after protracted skirmishes with censors in Generalissimo Franco's government. Restored by Cohen Film Collection in conjunction with Filmoteca Española, Madrid to its original glory not seen since its original release in 1970. 6:30 p.m. Additional screenings through Dec. 20. BRAZILIAN BAD BOY
   "Heleno" depicts the life of gifted athlete Brazilian-born Heleno de Freitas, who conquered the soccer world in the 1940s. As his fame and fortune grew, his passion for a decadent life of women and nightclubs threatened his career. The biographical drama stars Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro as Heleno and Madrid-based Angie Cepeda, and is based on a book by Marcos Eduardo Neves.    "A Royal Affair" centers on the love triangle between the insane Danish King Christian VII, Struensee, the royal physician who is a man of enlightenment and idealism, and Queen Caroline Mathilda , the young but strong monarch.    The Bolshoi Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker" screens. A magician with secrets, an enchanted gift, a battle with the Mouse King, a guiding angel, and a visit to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets all come to life in The Nutcracker.
