| Hotel prices soar for Art Basel guests By Marilyn BowdenWith demand high for accommodations at local hotels, the Art Basel Miami Beach experience will cost visitors a little more this year. Hoteliers report brisk booking activity, with expectations of sell-outs during the event. At Sagamore — The Art Hotel, said General Manager, Brian Vujnovic, rates from Dec. 5-9 are up about 18% over last year due to high demand. The average rate during that time slot is $892.
