SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

   The Nature Conservancy presents a live auction for exhibit "Design for a Living World," featuring nine commissioned designers and their pieces made of only sustainable goods.    The Little Lighthouse Foundation presents its third annual Halloween event "Nightmare on the Beach," featuring visual treats, electronic beats and whimsical performers. ARE WE DEMOCRACY?

FOR JAZZ

   The Biltmore Hotel hosts events in honor of the "Miami Nice Jazz Festival." During the "Sunday Afternoon Jazz Party," guests enjoy a taste of southern French wines and special tasting items such as quiches, sandwiches and French cheeses, paired with live music by Brazilian/American singer Mônica de Silva.
