   The Miami Chapter of Autism Speaks honors outstanding individuals
   and corporations for their exemplary leadership and commitment to the autism community at the second annual "Puzzle Pieces of our Community" gala. The evening event includes a silent auction followed by a formal dinner, dancing and entertainment provided by "Carlos Olivia y Los Sobrinos Del Juez." City of Doral Mayor, Juan Carlos Bermudez serves as keynote speaker and is one of this year's honorees along with Albert Lopez from BDO; Michael Bileca from Main Street Children's Dentistry Orthodontics; and The Herran Family of Sedano's Supermarket. 7 p.m. registration and silent auction. 8:30 p.m. dinner and program.    Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade hosts its sixth annual "Wild About Kids" black-tie optional gala, benefiting the organization's programs for children in need. Celebrity South Florida artist David Le Batard donates a piece of his original artwork inspired by the organization's mission statement to the silent auction. Elizabeth Elias, 13-year-old alumna of the organization, sings the national anthem to kick off the dinner program. 7 p.m. cocktail reception. 8 p.m. dinner program. 10:30 p.m. after party. LIVING JOURNEY
   "Holocaust: A Living Journey-Book" features a vibrant cast of ten post-graduate and undergraduate performers. The production uses the poetry of holocaust survivor and 1996 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Nelly Sachstogether with original monologues. Excerpts from Ann Frank's original diary highlight the relevance of the documented experience. Several cello solos, recorded by Amernet String Quartet member Jason Calloway and New World School of the Arts clarinetist Carla Cao accompany this performance. 7 p.m. Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 SW 57th Ave., Pinecrest. CUBAN DANCER
   MDC's Arts and Philosophy Department hosts a conversation with Cuban dancer Sonia Calero. Celebrated internationally, Calero shared a fruitful life and career with her equally famous husband and choreographer Alberto Alonso. She discusses her life experiences, both as wife and dancer.
