BRIDAL FEVER

   Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosts bridal event and fashion show "Garden Wedding Experience," featuring a cocktail lounge, a light dinner and sweet treats, and local vendors onsite. HUMANITY PROJECT

   The Adrienne Arsht Center hosts a free Holocaust Studies Community Symposium, as part of the recently-launched "Light/The Holocaust & Humanity Project." These events provide valuable lessons on the history and impact of the Holocaust through a series of lectures and presentations. Featured are Michael Berenbaum, National Institute for Holocaust Education historian; William Meinecke, author; and founding director of The David Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, Rafael Medoff. 8 p.m. Oct. 13. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 14. FREESTYLE FLIPS

   Sky Zone Miami, South Florida’s first indoor trampoline park, hosts its grand opening. Sky Zone allows jumpers to bounce, flip and tumble freestyle or try more daring tricks while jumping into the giant Foam Zone. Sky Zone offers sports-related activities atop the trampolines like 3D -Dodgeball and volleyball, as well as SkySlam, where participants can dunk in one of the park’s three lanes of basketball hoops.
