CHILDREN Saturday 10/6 PLAY DAYThe Miami Children's Museum hosts "Wide World Day of Play." Joining Nickelodeon in celebrating the power of play and healthy living, children and their families are invited to join museum educators for healthy activities and competitions that include balloon badminton, yoga, jump rope and hula hoop competitions. Noon-5 p.m. Miami Children's Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Watson Island. Free for children under 12 and museum members. $12 Florida residents. $16 others. Peter Rabbit really loves vegetables, but when his sweet-toothed sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail want only cakes and cookies, that's all Mother Rabbit will serve. Luckily he's found a source for his veggies: when Mother isn't looking, he trades sweets for produce with his cousin Benjamin Bunny, who won't share his mysterious source of vegetables with Peter. 2 p.m. Saturdays.
