Festival Miami opens with a concert featuring Leon Fleisher conducting the Frost Symphony Orchestra. The program ranges from Ludwig von Beethoven's "Coriolan Overture," based on a tragic tale of Roman conquest, to Sergei Rachmaninoff's sweeping "Symphony No. 2," evocative of the composer's flight from his Russian homeland. The concert also features contest winner Anastasiya Naplekova, a current Frost School of Music student, who plays Beethoven's "Fourth Concerto." 8 p.m. UM Gusman Concert Hall, 1314 Miller Drive, Coral Gables. $25-$65.
