SPECIAL EVENTS Friday 8/3 DANCE & DRUMThe third annual "African Diaspora Dance and Drum Festival of Florida" features three days of workshops from world renowned artists from West Africa and the Caribbean, a symposium, a concert extravaganza, a vendor market place, a children's village, a raffle drawing, an award presentation and a cultural reception. 1-9 p.m. Aug. 3. 10 a.m.-midnight Aug. 4. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Aug. 5. The event features over 25 local restaurants, the sampling of burgers and meatballs, unlimited craft beer samples with the purchase of a VIP ticket, a demo on how to build a unique burger, a burger eating contest, live music and more. 4-10 p.m. Miami Circle, 401 Brickell Ave., Miami.
