   The Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach hosts a "Get Out and Discover" event, featuring a performance by "Ghost of Gloria," along with DJ Irie, at the ELLE Spa Terrace. The performance takes place simultaneously with 19 others around the world as part of Renaissance Hotels’ project that brings to life their first-ever global advertising campaign "Live Life to Discover."    The Miami Marlins’ "Jiffy Lube Friday Night Live" features a post-game concert with Latin urban duo "Chino y Nacho." After the first Miami Marlins Friday home game of each month, fans can stay and hear a live post-game concert on the field with top recording artists and entertainers.    The Miami Science Museum and the International Hurricane Research Center and Miami-Dade County Emergency Management Department host "Feel the Force," a full day of activities and informative speakers on how to prepare for extreme weather such as hurricanes. Interactive activities include the Wall of Wind, where visitors construct a house from balsa wood and then place them in front of the wind simulator to see whose house can withstand hurricane winds.    The United Way of Miami-Dade hosts its annual meeting and volunteer awards program, honoring five community leaders and one outstanding young person whose works have had impact in our community. A new award will be presented, the United Way Icon of Philanthropy Award, to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Noon.
