   The Miami Art Museum presents a talk by artist Dario Robleto on "Every Record, Everywhere, is Playing Your Song Right Now." He discusses the roles played by music, the history of recording, fandom and DJ culture in his development. Followed by guest DJ Keen One. 6:30 p.m. Specialty cocktails. ARTIST CONVERSATION

   The Miami Art Museum hosts a preview party and artist conversation with Josè Bedia and exhibition co-curator Judith Bettelheim. Mr. Bedia’s exhibit "Transcultural Pilgrim: Three Decades of Work" features 35 artworks including paintings, installations and drawings exploring the influence of indigenous cultures and religions from the Caribbean, North and South America and Africa. 6-9 p.m. (6:30 p.m. talk). ON THE ROAD

   Solo exhibit "Ed Ruscha: On the Road" features paintings, drawings and photographs by Mr. Ruscha as inspired by Jack Keroauc’s novel "On the Road." Both artists transformed the use of language in commenting on the shifting character of the American cultural landscape. 7-9 p.m. opening reception. Exhibit through Sept. 2.
