The Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe hosts Children’s Week Event at Miami Children’s Museum as local organizations gather to inform to parents on family issues. Children can participate in a child fingerprint identification program as well as enjoy the museum and take part in activities such as story time, fire truck explorations, and arts and crafts. 3-7 p.m. Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Watson Island. "Discovery Days: The Marvelous City of Rio" invites children 5 to 12 to spend activity-packed days with HistoryMiami on teacher planning days. Unique activities encourage children to think, imagine, create and have fun.
