VISCERA
   The Miami City Ballet presents "Program II," featuring Liam Scarlett's "Viscera," Jerome Robbins' "In the Night" and "Ballet Imperial" Balanchine's tribute to Petipa and Tchaikovsky. Mr. Scarlett is the youngest choreographer ever to have been commissioned by Britain's Royal Ballet and "Viscera" is his American debut. The ballet uses a challenging score for orchestra and piano by the renowned American composer Lowell Liebermann. 8 p.m. Performances through Jan. 8. FIERY FLAMENCO
   "Suma Flamenco" incorporates live music, created and arranged by local and international guest guitarists, composers, singers, dancers and choreographers. Together they bring to this production the power of Flamenco dance. Featuring Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, dancer Clarita Filguerias of Flamenco Puro, Siempre Flamenco and guest artists guitarist Antonio Españadero; singer "El Choquero;" dancers Jose Moro, Eloy Aguilar, Fran Bas and guest "La Truco." 8 p.m. Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Carnival Studio Theater, Miami. $50. TO THE HEART
   Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, an international flamenco company based in Miami, presents the premiere of "Directo Al Corazon" (Straight to the Heart), an original flamenco ballet by Ilisa Rosal. Inspired by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen's "Hedda Gabler," this performance features renowned flamenco dancer La Truco and an international cast of musicians and dancers. Joining her are soloists Jose Moro, Eloy Aguilar and FranBas, as well as guitarist Antonio Españadero and singer El Choquero, direct from Spain, along with Joe Zeytoonian and Myriam Eli of Harmonic Motion. 8 p.m. Additional performances on Jan. 14.
