FREE CONCERT
   Miami-Dade Parks announces a free performance by "Tiempo Libre." Classically trained in Cuba, the Miami-based, three-time Grammy-nominated "Tiempo Libre" is composed of musical director and keyboardist Jorge Gomez and band mates Raul Rodriguez (trumpet,) Leandro Gonzalez (congas,) Tebelio Fonte (bass,) Armando Arce (drums,) Joaquin Diaz (vocals,) and Luis Beltran Castillo (saxophone/flute.) They are known for their high-voltage timba dance music, which is a twist of Latin jazz, seductive Cuban songs and Afro-Cuban rhythms. 8 p.m. Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St. Free. HOLIDAY HARMONIES
   The FIU School of Music presents "Choral Arts Series: Holiday Festival Choral Concert." John Augenblick conducts the Women's Choir and Master Chorale in this program featuring two 20th century master works: Benjamin Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" for Women's Choir featuring harp. JAZZ SERIES
   "Jazz at Wolfson" presents pianist Kemuel Roig, principal pianist for Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Arturo Sandoval. Cuban-born Mr. Roig began his musical career early studying jazz upon moving to Miami. Two years later, he performed in Italy with the MDC Hard Bop Ensemble at the Umbria Jazz Festival. With the same group, the following year he won a DownBeat Magazine student competition in the categories of Outstanding Composition and Best Jazz Performance. Noon.
