PERLMAN AND PROTÉGÉS

VISIONS OF ORPHEUS
   The Frost Opera Theater and program directors Alan Johnson and Dean Southern perform "Visions of Orpheus," the mythological tale of Orpheus, who charmed beasts and coaxed rocks and trees with his music to rescue his wife Eurydice from the Underworld. 7:30 p.m. Additional performances through Nov. 20. CONCERT SERIES
   The Deering Estate Chamber Ensemble presents concerts intimately set in the historic Stone House Ballroom. Internationally acclaimed musicians collaborate with guest composers, artists and talented youth performers as part of the "Living Artist Concert Series." "Voices through the Oceans" features Italian guest Mezzo-Soprano Victoria Schneider Malipiero, performing works by Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann and Ricardo Malipiero. 6:30 p.m. meet-the-artist reception. 7:15 p.m. concert.
