ARABIAN NIGHTS
   Miami Dade College hosts its annual "Belly Dance Show" with student and professional performers from MDC's Middle Eastern Culture and Arts Program at the Kendall Campus School of Continuing Education and Professional Development. This year's show , "Arabian Dreams," features and showcases more than 80 dancers from ages 14 to 60, from beginner to advanced levels. 8 p.m. Manuel Artime Theater, 900 SW First St., Miami. $25. FALL FOR DANCE
   "Dance NOW! Miami" dancers and poetic choreography opens in "Random Patterns of Falling Leaves," orchestrated to the haunting music of Arvo Part. This new work takes the audience from the South Florida tropics on a journey into the Midwestern forests as they shed their fiery leaves and prepare for the hibernation of winter. Bruce F. Brown and Marylin Skow create the dramatic lighting, sets and costumes for this newest collaboration from Dance NOW!'s artistic directors Diego Salterini and Hannah Baumgarten. 8 p.m. Additional performance Oct. 30 at 3 p.m. Colony Theater, 1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. $10-$35.
