"Conchtoberfest"

   Hawks Cay Resort and the Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce host the second annual "Conchtoberfest," a three-day, family-friendly festival to explore and discover local artistic and culinary specialties in addition to 10 specialty beers on tap. 5-10 p.m. Sept. 30. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Oct. 1. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 2. CULTURAL CENTER OPENING

   The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center hosts a two-day grand opening. Performances include jazz, classical, Latin, Caribbean and gospel music and dance along with theater and multimedia presentations. Featuring artists from Jean P. PINK DAYS

   The inaugural "Pink Days" event celebrates the efforts of Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research and brings survivors and loved ones together for an inspiring day at Zoo Miami. Includes interactive programs such as "Tree of Wishes," for visitors to make a wish or leave a memory at the zoo. Other activities include photo opportunities, pink-themed animal enrichment, health screenings, a scavenger hunt and more. 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Ends Oct. 2. BRICKELL CRAWL

   Miami Crawls and the University of Miami Department of Neurology present the first annual "Brickell Fall Crawl Fundraiser" to benefit the Residency Research and Education Fund.
