ART FOR KIDS
   The Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates the launch of the MOCA Art Institute with an open house event of innovative education programs for children, teens and adults. Free activities throughout the afternoon will give students of all ages a sample of the creative classes scheduled throughout the year. Children learn about modern and contemporary artists such as Alberto Giacometti, Keith Haring and Takashi Murakami while creating their own artwork. Free backpacks and tote bags for teens provided courtesy of Culture Shock Miami. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The Museum of Contemporary Art, 770 NE 125th St., North Miami.
