FEMINISM AND ART

   Documentary "!Women Art Revolution," chronicles the 1970s feminist art movement through intimate interviews, art and rare archival footage.    Documentary "I Am" asks the audience what’s wrong with the world and how to make it better. After director Tom Shadyac was involved in a cycling accident that could have left him incapacitated, he set out to search for life-affirming ways to improve the human race. He meets with thinkers and doers such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Noam Chomsky to find different answers. 7:30 p.m. Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, 174 E Flagler St., Miami. SLEEPING BEAUTY

   Catherine Breillat’s film adaptation of "The Sleeping Beauty" tells of Anastasia, who is cursed with pricking her hand and ensuing death at 16 years old. Three younger fairies alter her curse so that instead of dying, she sleeps for 100 years. For a century Anastasia will live in the world of dreams and awake to find a new world. 7 p.m. Additional screenings through Sept. 25.    "Red State" by Kevin Smith is a cautionary tale of a radical fundamentalist sect in Middle America. The film follows teens who receive an online invitation for sex and discover something more sinister. Starring Melissa Leo, Michael Parks and John Goodman. "DON QUIXOTE"

   The "Don Quixote" ballet screens from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
