CHILDREN Thursday 8/25 ART & MUSICBaptist Children's Hospital hosts "Family Fun: Discovering Art & Music Together," a parenting program for both parents and children led by art therapist Patricia Isis and music therapist Joseph Goelz. Ms. Isis and Mr. Goelz discuss the link between the brain and art and music; building children's imagination and creativity; building self-esteem and communication skills, and encouraging families to deviate from spending time with electronics and more time amongst each other. 7-9 p.m. Baptist Children's Hospital, 8900 N Kendall Drive, auditorium, Kendall. $5.
