Amelia Earhart Park offers a variety of outdoor activities. Mountain bike a 5.5-mile trail with challenging slopes and runs or practice a variety of water sports at the 91-acre lake. The Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department introduces a new program, "True Beginner Tennis for Women." This beginner, eight-week program is for women ages 30-60 who wish to learn tennis in a relaxed environment. Certified female tennis professionals use elements of QuickStart Tennis, an innovative, international program for novice tennis players. 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 8:30-10 a.m. Saturdays. 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays and 8:30-10 a.m. Sundays.
