"WACKY BARN"
   Zoo Miami hosts a "Wacky Barn Hoe Down," celebrating the grand opening of its "Wacky Barn" petting zoo filled with miniature and Shetland ponies, goats, alpaca, sheep and more. Event features giveaways, free Blue Bell Ice Cream snacks and performances by country music star Buddy Brown. Monorail rides are free during all of Independence Day weekend. PIRATE WEEKEND
   During Independence Day weekend, the first 150 kid visitors to Miami Seaquarium will receive a free gift. Those children dressed in pirate garb get in for $10 with a paid adult admission. In addition, the park's summer-long "Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean" theme features appearances by the Seaquarium's resident pirate Salty and a pirate high-wire show. 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Ends July 4.
