The Miami Science Museum hosts the first annual Miami Underwater Festival. Includes screenings of award-winning films related to the underwater realm and the museum’s newest, hands-on "Stingray Sea Lab" exhibit. Learn about the creatures that call area sea grass beds home and touch live stingrays in a 3,000-gallon tank. Presentation times vary. Ends May 28. Savor sushi for a cause during the seventh annual Nicky’s Week, a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In honor of former St. Jude patient Nicholas "Nicky" Maillard, who lost his battle with brain cancer at 13, the restaurant will donate 100% of proceeds from special Nicky’s week menu offerings to St. Jude’s children’s cancer research center.
