   After a middle-aged woman is dealt a double whammy of a crippling medical diagnosis and the discovery of a horrifying family crime, she finds solace in poetry. NIGHT ESCAPE

   In Roberto Rossellini’s 1960 film "Era Notte a Roma," which is set in Nazi-occupied Rome, a beautiful woman takes three fugitive Allied prisoners of war into her home. TRIBUTE TO DENEUVE

   Tower Theater pays tribute to French actress Catherine Deneuve with screenings of her greatest films through May 12.
