   The 2011 debuts with featured artist Peter Betan. CALYPSO QUEENS

   Trinidadian singers Queen Fayola, Princess Kizzie and Singing Sandra perform "Women of Calypso," an evening of theater, social commentary and song in the traditionally male-dominated Afro-Caribbean style. MUSIC EDUCATION BENEFIT

    The FIU Chapter of Collegiate Music Educators National Conference (CMENC) will present a benefit concert for "Grant for Music in Need". THREE STRIKES

   Florida Grand Opera presents Offenbach’s French opera "The Tales of Hoffman." In it, Hoffman entertains friends in a tavern with tales of his three past loves. In the end, his opera-singer love Stella returns to find Hoffman in a drunken stupor and departs on the arm of his archenemy Lindorf. 8 p.m. Additional performances 2 p.m. Jan. 30, 8 p.m. Feb. 2 and 8 p.m. Feb. 5.
