"UNDERTOW"
Set in a remote Peruvian fishing village, "Undertow" ("Contracorriente") is a ghostly tale of love and loss centering on the love triangle between a married couple and the husband's male lover. The film has won almost 40 film-festival awards – including the Sundance World Cinema Audience Award for Dramatic Filmmaking – and is Peru's submission for this year's foreign Oscar. 8 p.m. Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables. $5-$9. Details: (786) 385-9689 or info@coralgablescinemateque.org or www.cinemateque.org.

"YO, TAMBIÉN"
Lola Dueñas and Pablo Pineda star in the 2009 Spanish film "Yo, También" ("Me Too"). Part offbeat comedy and part drama, the quirky love story follows the relationship between Daniel and Nuria. Daniel is in love with Nuria, but she's reluctant to take their relationship to the next level. In the process, the film addresses societal prejudice and taking an open, unprecedented look at the desires of those with disabilities. 9 p.m. Additional showings through the end of the month. Miami Dade College Tower Theater, 1508 SW Eighth St., Miami. $6. Details: (305) 643-8706 or www.mdc.edu/culture/tower.htm.
