   Eugene Robinson, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for The Washington Post, discusses his book "Disintegration: The Splintering of Black America. Exploring 140 years of US black history, the book examines how the African American population has split into four disconnected groups — a small, influential elite, middle class majority, recent immigrants and the abandoned impoverished.
