STORY OF RESILIENCE
   Ingrid Betancourt shares her story of captivity in the Colombian jungle, the subject of her book "Even Silence Has an End." Born in Colombia and raised in France, Ms. Betancourt left her life of comfort and returned to Colombia, pursuing politics. While campaigning for the presidency, she was abducted by the FARC militant group, who kept her in the jungle six-and-a-half years before she was freed by the Colombian army in 2008.
