SCENES OF CUBA

   Documentary photographer Jack Beckham Combs has been capturing images of the Cuban people through fifteen visits to the island over six years. Ranging from rural landscapes to busy street scenes, his works are compiled in "The Cubans." Accompanying his photographs is an essay by Dr. Julia E. Sweig, director of Latin American Studies at Washington DC’s Council on Foreign Relations, on the future of the island nation.
