BEHIND BARS
Juan Oliver experiences the first day on the job from hell in "Cell 211," a 2009 Spanish film directed by Daniel Monzón. While taking a tour of the jail he'll be policing as a new prison officer, a piece of plaster falls from the ceiling, knocking him out. The guards take him to an empty cell — 211 — to recover. But then a fight breaks out in a high-security cell block and the guards are called to the scene, leaving Juan to awake in the locked cell alone. To survive, he must act like a prisoner. 4:05 and 9:15 p.m. Miami Dade College Tower Theater, 1508 SW Eighth St., Miami. $6. Details: (305) 643-8706 or www.mdc.edu/culture/tower.htm.

Details: (305) 643-8706 or www.mdc.edu/culture/tower.htm.

Jackson. 6:40 p.m. Miami Dade College Tower Theater, 1508 SW Eighth St., Miami. $6. Details: (305) 643-8706 or www.mdc.edu/culture/tower.htm.
